Terms and Conditions
All coaching services and communication email or otherwise, delivered by Faith Hobson of Parenting Revolution are meant to help you identify the areas in your life and in your thinking that may be standing in your way. However, coaching is not professional mental health care or medical care. If you feel psychologically stressed to the point that it is interfering with your ability to function, please have the courage to seek the help you need in the form of a professional counsellor. Coaching may augment your therapy, but the work of coaching is meant to be done when major emotional and psychological wounds are already healing or healed.
Confidentiality
The Coach will protect client information as confidential unless stated otherwise in writing by the client or by court order. If a report of child, elder abuse or neglect or a threat to self-harm or to harm someone else is made, the necessary actions will be taken, and the confidentiality agreement will be limited in this capacity. The client also agrees to maintain confidentiality and not share any personal or proprietary information about the coach with third parties without their express written consent. The use of technology is not always secure, and the client accepts the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text, phone, Zoom, Skype, and other technology.
Scope of Services
The Coaching agreement is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals. The coach does not guarantee specific results or outcomes, as the client's progress depends on their own efforts and commitment to the coaching process. The client acknowledges that they are fully responsible for their own well-being during the coaching sessions, including their own choices and decisions. The client acknowledges that coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
Scheduling and Cancellation
Coaching sessions will be scheduled mutually between the client and the Coach. The client agrees to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of sessions, and failure to do so may result in a session being forfeited. The coach reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances and will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.
Fees and Payment
The client agrees to pay the agreed-upon coaching fees as outlined in the coaching agreement. Payment is due before or at the time of each coaching session, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Late or missed payments may result in the suspension or termination of coaching services. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.
Intellectual Property
All materials, resources, and intellectual property provided by the Coach during the coaching sessions are for the client's personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without the Coach's express written consent.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Coach is located. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of that jurisdiction.
By engaging in coaching services with the Coach, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
